Warm Broccoli Salad with Sesame & Ginger Dressing
Full of delicious savory flavor and crunchy textures, this warm salad is a winner! Use as a side for any meal or as a mid-day snack. Let’s get cookin’!
- 1 lb. broccoli florets (about 8 heaping cups)
- 6 oz. raw uncured bacon, diced
- 2 medium shallots, thinly sliced
- 2 tbsp. avocado oil
- 3 tbsp. Sesame & Ginger Oriental Sauce
- Salt to taste
- ⅓ cup Panko breadcrumbs, lightly toasted for a golden color
- ¼ cup freshly grated Pecorino Romano or Parmigiano Reggiano cheese
Preheat oven to 425ºF.
Arrange broccoli florets on baking sheet. Add diced bacon to remaining space, and scatter shallots over bacon. Toss broccoli in 2 tbsp. avocado oil and season to taste with salt. Roast for 30 minutes, tossing everything once after 20 minutes.
Add the roasted broccoli, shallots, and bacon to a bowl, add toasted Panko, grated cheese, and Sesame & Ginger Oriental Sauce; toss to combine.
Serve warm or closer to room temperature.
